It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Ottawa Tulip Festival mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.

Ottawa Tulip Festival More than 500,000 visitors of all ages will be part of the international spotlight on Canada's Capital Region as the 55th annual Canadian Tulip Festival stages a fresh springtime pageantry of tradition and renewal.
Ideas will literally bloom at the new Canadian Tulip Festival, with notable Canadian and international personalities presenting and entertaining on changing ideas in the arts, science and civilization.
This year selected activities will benefit the international work of War Child Canada in recognition of the Festival's wartime origins. Canada provided safe haven in Ottawa for members of the Dutch royal family who began a tradition of gifting thousands of tulip bulbs each year to the people of Canada to symbolize international friendship.
